I stutter at the beggining and end of each sentance like Example - I-i-i um…its just just that i eat ca-cake.
And i do that EVERY time i talk.People always get really annoyed by it and tell me to shut up.I try not to stutter but it just doesn’t work. (which is why i prefer texting more then calling or IM more than Video Chat.) So how can i stop it without spending money on therapy or something.. (im stupid,they probably don’t have a stutter therapy)

i’ll be going to college soon [in the fall] and i really don’t wanna be stuttering when i get to college. i wanna be able to talk smoothly just like the others.
what do u suggest? speech therapy? will it be effective in 3 months?
I have been stuttering since i was 5 and it wont get better. I’ve tried reading out loud for an hr a day it didn’t do anything. When i read a book im doing fine then all of a sudden i start having trouble again. My parents wont take my to speech therapy they wont buy me anything that will help, i dont know what else to do plz help!!!
I developed a stutter immediately after my dad died. I was 5. I’m 20 now, it’s gone down but its still there. I really don’t like the idea of hypnosis but if anyone knows of any medication or some kind of therapy, I’d really appreciate it if you let me know! It gets really embarrassing!!
